How much do I get back per container?
5¢ for containers under 24 oz and 10¢ for containers 24 oz and up Set by the state of California.
What does CRV mean?
CRV stands for California Redemption Value, a deposit paid on eligible beverage containers that you can redeem when you recycle them.
Accepted materials
Can I bring in crushed cans or bottles?
Yes, as long as the CRV label is still visible, crushed containers are accepted.
Do you accept containers without a CRV label?
Yes, but unfortunately, we can only recycle them — we are unable to refund the deposit without a label.
How do I know if a bottle is CRV eligible?
Look for “CA CRV,” “California Redemption Value,” or “CA Cash Refund” near the barcode or label.
What types of items do you accept?
We accept CRV-eligible aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles marked with a CA CRV label.
